Ten years after the passing of Umberto Eco, UmbriaLibri and La nave di Teseo have chosen to commemorate him by exploring his life and work—envisioning them as a labyrinth. This was an image deeply cherished by Eco: not a place in which to get lost, but rather the very way in which we come to know the world—a network of interconnected references without a center, where every field of knowledge engages in a dialogue with the others.
The four guests, all of whom knew Eco personally, will serve as our guides through this network.
